I wish i had more time to do stuff. Well today i just sat around the house and played on the computer with thoggen a dvd backup utility. I like to put my movies down to other files so i can stream them to my media box upstairs. I think maybe i will upgrade that machine to Fedora Core 5. I will need to research my video drivers first. I don't want to mess up my dvd player. Now that i think about it i just might wait. It's not broke so why fix it.

Allot of people don't know this but i got married back in December 05. It's been great being married. I am also the step-dad to a great little girl. She is a blast to hang out with. We were washing the jeep today, and i let her hold the spray gun. This is at one of those car washes. I changed the setting, and she pulled back on the trigger and that sprayer took of like a rocket. It was so funny. I should have warned her. She was a trooper, after she stopped running, i was laughing trying to get the runaway hose, she was like i'm okay it's just water. She did a little more work after that.

Earlier this year i was laid off my job that i had, then i started working for a small company doing php development. It has been a learning experience. God has keep a roof over my head and food on the table. He has not left me at all. I did not worry when i was losing my job. I know that God cares allot about me and has a plan for my life. He got me to where i am, and i know that He's not just going to leave me when times get tough. Well tough for a human. In His position He sees it all, so it's nothing to Him.

There is so much that i want to do, and don't have time for. I think i am going to put my blog index page on the front page of my web site. That way i don't have to try and keep it updated, and the site looks like something is happening. There are allot of other things on the site that i don't use that much anymore, so i will remove them.

Well i have been working really hard on a new application for my company. It's pretty cool, and i think it's going to be a hit. I just need to finish up entering data into the database, and then i can start the fun stuff and program some more. I really enjoy programing. I have been doing allot in Perl and php lately, that does not include the hack that i did on BloGTK to let me post to b2evolution and set Category and Title. I still want to extend b2evolution to use atom api for posts. I just have not had the time yet. Oh well.

I have still been working on my bathroom. I need to order a few more things and then i can finally finish that project. Another dive trip is coming up here soon. I cannot wait to go on that. Nicole will be going and finishing up her open water class. She is so great. I love her so much. She is the best.

Well i better get back to work. I am waiting on a Perl module to finish compiling. Lucky me.

Hi everyone out there in blogland- I am Nicole-- Ed's awesome girlfriend. Ed said I could post on his blog-- but I don't think he actually thought I would. If you are actually reading his blog-- you are probably a computer geek also. I do not understand most of what he writes:) Just thought i would say "hey", and that even though Ed sounds like a super geeky guy-- he is the greatest boyfriend a girl could ever ask for. He is the Bomb! and if you ever have a computer malfunction- go ahead and give Ed a call== he loves when people need help with their computers. :)

Well things are still good. I have just finished working about a little under a month on a new program. It's kinda cool the way it works, and i like it so far. But like all the programs i write, i think i will look back on it in a few months/year and think... I cannot believe that i wrote that. Oh well. That's just the way it goes. I used allot of javascript in this one. The rest was written in php.

Well this will be my first post on this machine from home, using my edited version of BloGTK. One thing that i did not test was the Category setting. So this will be it. If this post is in Computers and Technology, then i have to fix it. If it's in My Life, then things are working. Well i am going to get going 2 bed. I want to get up in the morning and get to work before noon :-) HA!! HAA!! . No i need to check on some servers and get some code uploaded to a server.

I also hacked my b2evolution xmlrpc.php file. I think i should look at the atom api and extend b2evolution to use that. But first i will talk to the community and see where they are going. I don't want to be going in the opposite direction. I don't like doing allot of work and no one needing the results but myself.

Well enough. I am going 2 bed.
